Is this ethical?▼
We work exclusively with camel herders who treat their animals well: rotating rides, proper nutrition, rest at midday. If you see anything unusual, tell us immediately.
Do I need to be in particular physical condition?▼
No. The ride is very gentle, the herder leads. Unusual posture (legs spread) — for this reason we limit to 1 hour.
When is the best time?▼
5pm-7pm in winter, 6pm-8pm in summer (sunset). Magical photos. Avoid midday (hot for you and the animal).
How many people per camel?▼
1 adult, or 1 adult + 1 child (up to 8 years old). The herder judges based on weight.
Are there fragile camels?▼
No, the camel is one of the most resilient animals in the world. A 1-hour ride doesn't tire it at all.
