Tataouine : la capitale des ksour, entre Dahar et Sahara
La ville de Tataouine a prêté son nom à la planète de Luke Skywalker, mais son vrai trésor est autour d'elle : des dizaines de ksour, ces greniers fortifiés berbères, et les villages perchés de Chenini, Douiret et Guermessa.

Vu du ciel, Matmata ressemble à un champ de cratères : chaque cratère est une maison, creusée dans la terre par les Berbères pour se protéger de la chaleur. L'une d'elles est devenue la maison de Luke Skywalker.
