Away from the hustle of the tourist area, the west coast of Djerba retains unspoiled beaches, sand dunes and trails. It is here, in Sidi Jmour, that our partner equestrian center, a family-run facility, welcomes you to its stables for a 1 h 30 ride at the end of the day.
Upon arrival, the team introduces you to the horses and gives safety instructions; helmet and vest are provided. Then you set off on the trails and along the beach. The horses are accustomed to water: when the sea and season permit, we enter the sea with them. The highlight: the sun setting over the sea, at a time that changes with the season.
Beginners welcome: the accompanying riders adapt the pace to each person's level. The ride is open from age 6, and the price is the same for children and adults.
We pick you up from your hotel in Djerba and bring you back: the round-trip transfer is included. Allow 35 to 50 minutes of travel from the tourist area, depending on your hotel. In case of bad weather, we will suggest another date.
