Looking for an outing that appeals to both children and parents? Head to Djerba Explore in Midoun and its crocodile farm. We pick you up from your hotel and, in about 3 hours, you see the highlights without rushing.

The crocodiles first. Over 400 Nile crocodiles live here in a large tropical lagoon, surrounded by palm trees and pools. You watch them bask in the sun, glide through the water… then everything comes alive at feeding time: the highlight of the visit. Depending on the day, you watch the feeding or the reptile show, led by keepers who share amazing facts about these cold-blooded animals. And for a keepsake, a photo with baby crocodiles.

Then the other reptiles. Giant tortoises, lizards, snakes: each has its own space, set up so you can see them up close without danger. Perfect for children.

Finally the museums. The Lalla Hadria Museum houses over 1,000 works of Arab and Tunisian art, from across the Arab world. The Heritage Museum tells the story of traditional life in Djerba, its crafts and architecture.

You can explore at your own pace, with free time to wander through the park. The site is accessible to wheelchair users. Don't forget sunscreen and a hat: part of the visit takes place outdoors.

Who is it for? Families with children of course, but also couples and curious visitors: the visit is suitable for all ages, and the park is open every day, all year round.
