The south-east coast of Djerba offers ideal diving conditions for beginners and experienced divers alike: average visibility 10-15 m, Mediterranean wildlife (grouper, sea bream, conger eel, octopus, gilt-head sea bream), wrecks accessible from 12 m depth.

Our centre is run by instructors CMAS and PADI. The discovery dive takes place in two stages: 30 min theoretical briefing + supervised descent to a maximum of 6 m. No prior experience is necessary.

Everything you need to know

Do I need to be able to swim?
For the discovery dive, being able to float and feeling comfortable in water is sufficient. A swimming certificate is not required.
From what age?
Discovery dive: from 8 years old with parental consent. Certified diving: 12 years old (Junior Open Water).
What will I see whilst diving?
Brown grouper, gilt-head sea bream, sars, sea bream, octopus, conger eels occasionally, red gorgonians, Posidonia seagrass. An Italian cargo ship wreck is accessible to Level 1 divers.
Is there a risk to my ears?
The instructor will teach you equalisation techniques before descent. If you have a cold, it's better to postpone.
