Is it physically demanding?

No. Travel is by air-conditioned 4×4. Camel rides are optional (1 hour, easy level). Excursions are suitable for families with children from 4-5 years old.

What is bivouac accommodation like?

Traditional Berber tent, mattress and blankets provided, shared facilities with running water. Traditional dinner (mechoui or tagine) and breakfast included.

What is the best season?

October to May. Summer (June-September) is very hot (40-45°C during the day). Spring and autumn offer ideal conditions (20-30°C daytime, 10-15°C night).

Can children participate?

Yes, from 4-5 years old. Reduced rate -50% from 4 to 11 years, free for babies (0-2 years).

Is there mobile coverage in the desert?

Intermittent coverage. Zmela campsite has limited Wi-Fi. Better to disconnect — that's partly why we go!

What should I bring?

Warm clothes for the night, closed-toe shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, swimming costume (Ksar Ghilane), torch, identity papers, personal medications.

Which circuit should I choose?

If you have 1 day : Ksar Ghilan (oasis + hot spring + dunes) or Tataouine-Chenini (Berber ksours).

If you have 2 days : our flagship package — bivouac under the stars with Berber dinner, camel ride at sunset, return via troglodyte Matmata. The best value for time.

If you have 3 days or more : we venture to Tozeur, monumental oasis, Onk Jemel and Star Wars film sets (Mos Espa). Perfect for enthusiasts or saga fans.
